The Town of Hartford will be holding a Public Informational meeting and Public hearing regarding the  Town plan to update the current Comprehensive  Plan and make some zoning changes.  Please see notice link below.

Town of Hartford Zoning Ordinance

For your convenience, a building permit application is being provided below.  A Sign-off sheet or Shoreland Permit from Washington County Parks & Planning will also be needed.  You may reach that office at (262) 335-4445.

Building permits may be submitted to the Town of Hartford Zoning office between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Wednesdays or drop your application off in the drop box to the left of the main entrance door. Town of Hartford Building Permit Application .  ALL applications must be sent to the  TOWN OF HARTFORD, 3360 Hwy K, Hartford, WI  53027.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND APPLICATIONS DIRECTLY TO THE BUILDING INSPECTOR.

Building Permit Application

If you are in need of an building, electrical, heating or plumbing permit, you may pick up an application at the Town of Hartford, and we will forward the completed application to our Building Inspector, JP Building Inspections LLC.   You may request to schedule an inspection by calling (262) 689-7346 and ask for Jeremy.  ALL applications must be sent to the  TOWN OF HARTFORD, 3360 Hwy K, Hartford, WI  53027.  PLEASE DO NOT SEND APPLICATIONS DIRECTLY TO THE BUILDING INSPECTOR.
