Please be aware the town employees are working on the road most of the time.
They will return your call when they can.
The Town of Hartford maintains 49 miles of roads which takes a considerable amount of time. Please call for brush pick up and leave a message on the answering machine with your name, address and a phone number. Brush pick up messages are written down. Please know that the maintenance department will not be returning your call once you are on their schedule. Due to the volume of brush pick ups (sometimes up to 60 a month) brush not picked up Monday will be picked up the following day.
Brush pick up will be available the FIRST MONDAY of every month; or the first Tuesday if Monday falls on a Holiday. Please have your brush at the curbside and call 673-6729 for pickup. The following size limit of one pile per residence and 5' x 5' x 10' long. Any pile greater than the required size limit will require the resident to contract with an outside source.
Snow plowing or road issues: Please call, but remember due to work volume we may be working on the road so leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we are able!
